A Berkeley Daily: Mañuko Benta, Bermeo, Spain
4" x 5", Oil on canvas on board, Inquire.
After a visit to the Guggenheim in Bilboa, I traveled to the northern coast of Spain - a stunningly beautiful setting - and stayed in the tranquil town of Bermeo. How odd to discover that the serenity had not always been this way: nearby was the town of Guernika, otherwise known as Guernica. Sometimes we do strange things to one another. I chose to paint.
If you are interested in acquiring this painting, send me a note.
